Project Description:
You are supposed to design a “simple” model/approach/theory that can be used to present the nature and role of design theory in a chosen context. The task is to, in relation to the readings and discussions on design theory, design thinking and design practice, analyze, examine, and criticize the notion of design theory and then design a condensed and “simple” version of your notion of design. The purpose of your model is to make the case for the need of design theory and design philosophy in a specific area or to a community that may not realize that they are designers or do design work. The assignment is to design both the content and the format.
